Synology Released Firmware v.0462 for Selective NAS Models and v.0027 for USB Station Taipei, Taiwan—May 14, 2007—Continuing to the v.0462 release for CS407 and CS407e last week, Synology Inc. has today released the same version for its NAS products: RS407, RS-406, CS-406, CS-406e, and DS207. This prime objective of this release is to synchronize the firmware status of the covered models with CS407 and CS407e, with main improvements of strengthening the wakeup functionality from hibernation mode, and adding a new option for user to use to optimize CIFS database operations. A new version v.0027 for USB Station has also been released today. The new version has included a Windows Vista compatible USB Station Assistant, and the capacity limitation of supported USB hard drive has been removed.
