Advanced FTP Option
DSM offers advanced FTP settings for a better FTP access control. You can assign a specific port number, set connection limit on each IP address, or give permit to anonymous account logins. Also, when exchanging confidential files, SFTP with SSL/TLS encrypted connections can ensure security at premium level. In addition, the support for FIPS encryption standard allows you to easily spot any suspicious activity1.
Speed Limit
Apply speed limit settings to FTP server so you can control the bandwidth for the best efficiency when transferring important files over the network. You can also assign speed limit to individual users or user groups so they won’t take over each other’s bandwidth.
