In addition to your DSM user name and password, you will have to enter a 6-digit one time code only available on your mobile devices. An extra step is designed to significantly enforce the security of your account.

Your storage system can be on guard 24/7 against risks posted by failed disk drives. Global hot spare disks are always in the preparatory mode to be used for any type of RAID group whenever a disk drive fails within. The least number of disks are required to minimize the chance of data loss without the need of your intervention. The global hot sparing serves as the backup drives that ensures data security in the most efficient way.

Synology High Availability Manager (SHA) ensures business continuity and greatly increases protection across IT infrastructure. The SHA harnesses dual storage servers into clusters with automatic failover mechanism.
